Intentional Questions to Infuse Energy Into Your Parenting Today

Proverbs 27:23, “Be diligent to know the condition of your flocks, and pay attention to your herds;” remains one of my all time favorite parenting Scriptures (AMP)! I love reading it in various translations, so I’ll share a handful of other beneficial translations:

Proverbs 27:23, “A shepherd should pay close attention to the faces of his flock and hold close to his heart the condition of those he cares for” (TPT).

Proverbs 27:23, “Know the state of your flocks, and put your heart into caring for your herds” (NLT).

Which one resonates with you today?

Also, what did you think of Jessica Smartt’s wisdom in Parenting 0-18 with an Eternal Perspective? Did you also listen to her first episode about Making Family Memories?

Calling this knowledge to mind gives me zeal and renewed excitement for daily parenting. Another way to infuse energy in parenting comes through reflection and dreaming. I hope these questions allow you to do both.

Praying for you as I sign off now!

Sincerely,

Laura
